The Oneonta woman struck last month on the Lettis Highway died at an Albany hospital. According to AllOtsego, Police Chief Douglas Brenner said 32-year-old April Johnson was pronounced dead on January 11. She had been in intensive care after being hit while crossing the busy road near Main Street, in an area that police say was not marked for pedestrians and is not well lit. Brenner says no additional charges are being brought against the driver of the vehicle that hit her.
