Oneonta Woman Arrested for Theft of Vehicle

A 24-year-old Oneonta woman was arrested by the Otsego County Sheriffs Office for stealing and selling a motor vehicle last year.

An investigation revealed that Kristen Rudnitsky allegedly forged the owner's name on several DMV documents and sold the vehicle to a Binghamton resident.

Rudnitsky, who is presently in jail for drug possession, was arraigned in the town of Oneonta Court on these new charges and will be back in court next month.
