The Oneonta School District received high marks from State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli who announced his office completed audits of several school districts across New York. According to the report the positives for the district include ensuring the accuracy of compensation and benefits provided to employees along with effectively segregating the multiple aspects of the payroll process and providing adequate oversight.
