Oneonta Man Caught With 5 Pounds of Marijuana

An erratic driver in Oneonta ends up getting busted on felony drug charges. According to New York State Police at Oneonta, 49-year-old Timothy Young of Oneonta was seen leaving the Market Street parking garage ramp last Wednesday and then proceeded to make several traffic violations. An attempt by police to stop Young near the Clinton Plaza failed and he took off to the parking garage where he ended up driving to the top level where police were able to take him into custody. A search of Young’s car found he possessed around 5 pounds of marijuana. It was discovered that he was impaired by alcohol with a BAC of .14%. Young was booked into the Otsego County Jail.
