It's been a long haul that took weeks for the Oneonta High School Class of 2020 Advisor Kelly Taverone, school district Superintendent Tom Brindley and OHS Principal Anne Wolstenholme to work together to coordinate this Saturday's graduation ceremony at the Oneonta High School.

The greatest challenge according to Taverone was working around the change in Governor Cuomo's COVID-19 related state mandates for educational institutions.

The ending result is that OHS is holding three graduation ceremonies to graduate over 120 seniors who may bring 2 guests with them to attend, and those people will be the ones handing over the diploma to their graduating senior at the ceremony to be held outdoors on the football field turf at the high school.

The first ceremony begins at 10:00 am with students broken up into the 3 ceremonies by alphabetical order of their last name. The second ceremony will be at 12:30 pm and the last at 3:00 pm.

Below is a wonderful video produced by OHS teacher Alan Hecox to send off the seniors on their journey to adulthood.
