After Tuesday night's heavy rainfall in Otsego and Chenango Counties, flooding from overflowing rivers and streams caused problems for some commuting area residents, schools and even the Oneonta Country Club.

The Oneonta Country Club reported on their facebook page that "the course has flooded due to the 3.6” of rain overnight so right now we are closed and Tuesday Night Men's League is cancelled! The top 3 holes here at the Country Club are open to anyone who wants to come and play them!"

Luckily, Mother Nature is being much kinder to our area than many of the southern states that continue to suffer in the wake of Hurricane Florence.  According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, we are expecting at least a few days of dry weather to assist with areas that have been flooded.
