Oneonta Alumni Association Announces Cancellation of Alumni Weeke

Amidst concerns over spreading COVID-19 and just not knowing what the rest of this year holds in store for us all, Laurie Perry Jennings, President of the OHS Alumni Association made an announcement regarding the OHS Alumni Weekend event which is held annually on the first weekend in October, in conjunction with the Pit Run.

Following a virtual meeting with members of The OHS Alumni Association Planning Committee, Perry Jennings stated on the OHS Alumni Association facebook page, "After much discussion, and listening to each others concerns, it is with heavy hearts that we have decided to cancel this years 'Alumni Weekend'. It was a very difficult decision for us to make. We know you will be disappointed, as are we, but at the same time we have to keep everyone's health and safety first. We have no idea what the fall season will bring and we just weren't willing to take that chance. We hope you all understand.

The Alumni Association did mention that they are planning on holding OHS Alumni Weekend in 2021.
