NYS Sheriffs Association Heading To Albany

Next month the New York State Sheriffs Association will take a trip to the state capitol to lobby lawmakers for funding to put at least one armed School Resource Officer in every single school in the state. The sheriffs will be in Albany on March 6. Last week the association sent a letter to state lawmakers asking for the SROs saying that they hoped legislators who allocate millions to protect judges can find money to protect students who are most vulnerable.
