Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schoharie and Otsego Counties has received a grant from New York’s Farm To School program which increases the use of New York State farm products in schools and boosts the state’s agricultural economy. The $100,000 grant will go to develop a Pilot Farm-to-School program in conjunction with Capital Region BOCES which will benefit more than 4,000 students in five districts. This is the fifth round of funding from the program with $4.4 Million awarded so far.
