
NY State Police ‘Speed Week’ Begins Thursday
tate Police will be targeting speeding and aggressive drivers during a special week-long traffic enforcement initiative that begins this Thursday (June 11) and runs through next Wednesday. The “Speed Week” enforcement campaign will also see troopers actively patrolling highway work zones to target drivers who violate New York’s “Move Over” Law. Nearly 25,000 tickets were issued during the 2019 Speed Week campaign including 13,000 for speeding, and close to 600 for distracted driving.
