State Senate candidate Jim Barber issued a statement on his policy to cut taxes for rural New Yorkers, small businesses and farms. Barber who is running to succeed Senator Jim Seward unveiled a six-point proposal which caps property taxes for working families, small businesses and retirees while increasing or modifying business taxing and those earning over $5 million a year. Barber says there is bipartisan support for these proposals.
