NY Attorney General Sues to Dissolve NRA Over Money Abuse

New York State Attorney General Letitia James has filed a lawsuit to dissolve the National Rifle Association (NRA) accusing officials of illegally diverting money from the organization for their own personal use. According to James, four of the group’s top officials violated state and federal laws, contributing to the loss of more than $64 million over a three year period. The NRA issued a statement saying the action was a baseless, premeditated attack on their organization. They are planning to file a countersuit.
