Nominations Sought For Trailblazing Oneonta Women

When you think of a woman in the Oneonta area who has been a trailblazer in her field or in the community, who comes to mind?  The Oneonta Commission on Community Relations and Human Rights is now seeking nominations for the 8th Annual Trailblazer Award.   This award was created in honor of Women's History month, and recognizes a woman in the Oneonta Area who, by demonstrating outstanding achievement in her field or in the community, has enhanced the visibility and stature of women.

Recognition will be presented in one or more of seven categories: 1) Human/Community Services, 2) Unsung Advocate/social action, 3) Young Leader, 4) Career Achiever, 5) The Arts, 6) Entrepreneurship, or 7)Athletics.   The deadline for nominations is March 24, 2014.
