New TV Watching Trend: ‘Hate Watching’

Here's a new TV trend I hate: "hate-watching".   Have you heard of this?  Maybe you do it?  It's where you tune in to watch a TV show for the simple fact that you hate it.  But it doesn't stop there.  What you really want to do is rip on that show on Facebook and other social media and have other "hate watchers" join in that conversation.

Hate-watching is very different than viewing your guilty pleasure shows which you don't want anyone to know you like because it's embarrassing.  When you hate-watch, you let everyone know.
