Susquehanna SPCA officials provided an update on their new Cooperstown shelter construction saying they’re shooting for a grand opening on May 1, 2021. The facility was designed to have several smaller areas for adoption, isolation and medical treatment with separate air handling and noise barriers so animals can be housed without interference from other animals. Donations are still being accepted for the organization’s “Shelter Us” campaign at sqspca.org.
