It's spring and everything is beginning to wake up and emerge. I've noticed some positive changes around Oneonta, mostly in the form of new businesses opening up. From new restaurants to hair care to body art, Oneonta is growing.

Zip's Chop Shop recently opened on Oneonta's Main Street in the space that Theresa's Emporium used to occupy. Owned by Andy Feudi, Zip's specializes in barber shop specialties and hair care. Their page lists haircuts, fades, and shaves, in a variety of styles as their focus.

I noticed this new tattoo shop that opened on Route 7 in Oneonta's East End. Their Instagram page shows some of their work, and one of their specialties is American traditional, a genre of which I'm a collector.

I came across a post today that piqued my interest. On April 29th,  a new kind of restaurant is slated to open on Route 23 in Oneonta in the space that Azul used to occupy. Their page states: "We will be offering breakfast from 7am to 11am and lunch from 11am to 3pm Monday thru Friday. We are excited to offer this dining experience because we believe you deserve great homestyle food even while you're on the go. In 3 easy steps you'll be on your way to enjoying Dee-licous Homestyle food."
