Hey everyone, Britney, the Townsquare Oneonta Intern here. This weekend I had the opportunity to head down to Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ to audition for the voice. I have auditioned a few times before, and unfortunately this trip had the same outcome as past auditions, I did not make it. However, I still had a lot of fun spending some quality time with my mom and checking out a lot of talent from all over the northeast (and possibly the country). When I first got there I was greeted by a line that went as far as I could see.

The wait outside really wasn't that bad. After about an hour I was through the gates... But then... more waiting...

Another hour spent here, and I was ready to go inside!! Had to snap a shot of myself all excited to go in!

Beyond this point cell phones were not permitted, so unfortunately I could not take any pictures of the actual auditions. We were taken into private rooms in groups of 10 to sing in front of a producer. Unfortunately, I didn't make it, but it was definitely a good time, and I'm sure I'll go down again! Maybe I'll have someone drive me next time, as driving close to the city is not my favorite thing. That was easily the hardest part of the day.
