Mt. Vision Man Arrested on Burglary Charges
On December 4, 2020 at approximately 8:08 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Herbert J. Bidwell Jr., age 38 of Mount Vision, NY for the felony of Burglary in the second degree and the misdemeanor of Criminal Trespass in the second degree.
Troopers were dispatched by Otsego County 911 to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on State Highway 28 in the town of Oneonta. The residents were home when they heard glass breaking and called 9-1-1.
When troopers arrived, they found Bidwell inside the residence. He was arrested and also found in possession of suspected heroin.
During the investigation, troopers learned that Bidwell had entered another neighboring home and he was additionally charged with trespassing.
Bidwell was processed then transported to Otsego County Central Arraignment and Processing.
