According to New York State Police, a motorcyclist collided with an SUV in the town of Richfield and was killed. Police say it happened last evening just before 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 28 and Hyder Road. The collision occurred when an SUV driver who was heading northbound made a left turn in front of the southbound motorcyclist.

First responders attempted to revive the motorcyclist but the unidentified motorcyclist  was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV’s driver was hospitalized for unspecified injuries. State Police continue to investigate the crash.
