A woman from Milford, NY is facing an arson charge. Susan P. Raczkowski, 50 years old, was arrested on June 17 following an investigation by the Milford Fire Department into a suspicious wood shed fire in the Town of Milford on Evening Inn Road. The fire department reached out to the Otsego County Sheriff's Office after discovering that the fire had been intentionally set.

According to the Otsego County Sheriff's Office, as a result of that fire, the shed was destroyed along with the contents inside it.  Raczkowski was taken into custody last Thursday by Sheriff's deputies without incident, arraigned then was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.

Raczkowski faces the following charges:
Arson 4th degree – E Felony (2 counts)
Criminal Mischief 4th degree – A Misdemeanor (2 counts)

No further details were released by the Sheriff's Office regarding whom the shed and property belonged to or the arson motive.
