Place became superintendent in 2017 and as of July 1, ONC BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Catherine Huber will take on interim superintendent duties for the district as the search for a new superintendent takes place.

In the letter, Mossman states that Place's departure was a mutual agreement between Place and the Board of Education.

Moving forward, the letter describes challenges ahead that Huber, as interim Superintendent, and the new hire will face as the district recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic: submitting their federal stimulus plan, focusing on serving Milford students, and fulfilling the school's mission of serving students both academically and emotionally, while also supporting staff members.

For those in the Milford Central School District, the board invites community members to contact Marion Mossman with any questions or concerns mmossman@milfordcentral.org or by calling the school's main office at 607-286-7721.
