The City of Oneonta will be holding a public informational meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers, 258 Main Street on February 2nd at 7 p.m. to discuss the proposed construction of the Neahwa Park Entrance Improvement Project.  The City, in cooperation with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is developing design studies for the Neahwa Park Entrance Improvement Project. The project will start at Market Street and extend southerly along James Georgeson Avenue, terminating at the pedestrian bridge over the Mill Race.

The purpose of the meeting is to obtain comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials, and local agencies. The City is specifically soliciting comments on the alternate for the project and comments on the project’s social, economic, and environmental effects.
