Man Charged in Franklin Head-On Collision

Charges are filed in a Franklin head-on collision that happened last Wednesday. Police say Jeffrey Lewis of Walton was on County Highway 21 going southbound when he crossed into the northbound lane near the intersection of Leland Hull Road. The car Lewis hit rolled over several times resulting in the driver suffering a head injury. An investigation determined Lewis had a revoked driver license from a previous violation. He is due in Town of Franklin County at a later date.
