Main Street Oneonta Kicks Off Fabulous Friday May 2nd [Audio]

The first Fabulous Friday is tonight from 6 to 8pm (some activities start at 5pm) in Downtown Oneonta and sponsored by Main Street Oneonta. This free event features the enjoyment of music, art, and culture in Downtown Oneonta.

There will be live music in the Plaza with Randy Miratello and friends from 6pm to 8pm.  Randy plays frequently in the Oneonta area with his two bands: The Hopcity Hellcats and Horse Shoe Lounge Playboys. Tonight you'll hear Randy's own style of bluegrass and country which he describes as "Original Outlaw Country".

While you're in the plaza, enjoy free samples of Goose Island Endless IPA, a new beer courtesy of Northern Eagle Beverages, Inc.  You must be 21 or older to sample.

As if that wasn't enough Professional Wrestler The Patriot will be in Muller Plaza from 6-8, doing a meet n greet and signing autographs for free.

Below is a list of Fabulous Friday venues and activities:
~ Oneonta History Center- 183 Main Street 5-8pm.  The 2nd Annual Cakewalk. Come take part in this traditional raffle.
~ Michael Stolzer Fine Art – 97 Main Street 6-9pm:  Art Exhibits and Music in the Red Room with artist, Jamie Ormiston.
~ The Main Gallery – Works by Artist, Michael Stolzer and live music by Chris Clark
~ CANO (Ford Ave.) -- Featured artist is Ashley Coopertown with an opening reception from 5 - 8pm.
