Longtime Davenport Postmaster Passes Away

Sally Beames was an area postmaster for many years and was a longtime member of the Pindars Corners Fire Department both as a fireman and in the ladies auxiliary. Sally was also the Davenport Town Historian for many years and a member of the West Davenport United Methodist Church.

Sally wsa a beloved member of the Davenport area community and was very involved with her husband Ben in keeping the memories and history of the area alive for future generations.  For more on Sally's life and to view funeral details CLICK HERE.
