Yesterday, Oneonta School District voters went to the polls at Foothills Performing arts center to vote on the school budget and 3 board member positions.  Voters gave the green light to the 2016-2017 budget 404 to 136. The bus proposition passed 388 to 143 and there were only three candidates running for three positions so incumbents Darren Gaisford, Melissa Jervis and Bill Grau were all re-elected to three year terms.

For the Franklin Central School District the budget and bus proposition both passed by over 100 votes. For the school board seat, Steven Cox defeated Adam Niebanck in a close race 87-78.

In Unatego the budget and a proposition for establishing a capital reserve fund were both approved by roughly 120 votes. For the board member election, write in candidate James McDermott captured 22 votes.
