Leslie Ann Reviews ‘Like Crazy’

Last night, my husband and I were in the mood for a romantic comedy and picked "Like Crazy", starring Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones.  The story revolves around a British college student at UCLA (Felicity Jones) who falls for her American classmate played by Anton Yelchin and the complications of their relationship.  It's a story about first love and the beauty and fragility of that first love.   Would I recommend it as a date movie you ask?  Hmmmm.  It depends on if you love that story book ending or not.  It has a surprise ending, neither good nor bad but unexpected.  Not a Hollywood finish for sure.  I enjoyed it's reality perspective on relationships.  I would give it high marks.  It is an Academy Award Nominee FYI and deservedly so.   Just know that it's not all roses.  Just like real life, it has it ups and down.  VERY good movie in my opinion and makes you feel something unlike many movies.
