I've heard of many different charity calendars over the years.  They usually feature a group of people, scantily clad (or not at all) with strategically placed items to hide the unmentionables but now I truly have heard it all.  The Fertile Earth Foundation has released what is probably the strangest calendar of 2013. It's called "Ladies of Manure," and features models covered only in different forms of poop - worm poop, fish poop, etc. You're probably wondering why in the heck they would do this?  According to Lanette Sobel, executive director of Fertile Earth, the organization would like to "demystify" defecation, encourage composting, and tell a story about manure and its importance.  Sobel says that the models - mostly volunteers within the organization - were surprisingly OK about the whole thing.  Believe it or not, from what I've seen of the calendar, it's kind of well...tasteful.  Who would have thought? You can see some of the pictures from the calendar by checking out a news story from local10.com.
