Binghamton University baseball star Nick Roselli has made it to the big leagues by being chosen by the New York Mets in the Major League Baseball Draft. Roselli was picked in the 11th round and according to Binghamton University, he is the  highest position player taken by their program in 34 years.

The second baseman helped the Bearcats to win the America East Championship in his freshman year with the Bearcats. Roselli played three seasons, and clobbered 26 home runs in only 439 at-bats.

In Roselli's junior year, he had a .388 batting average in 27 games, which is remarkable because he was battling injuries throughout the season.  Roselli is known for his clutch hitting by batting .378 in 11 tournament games.
