Is that you? Well, you aren't alone and it doesn't matter the time of year. In a recent study that was conducted nationwide, we found out that New Yorkers have a knack for getting stressed out over the little things.

The Empire State has come in #1 and clinched the top spot for states that stress out over minor inconveniences the most. Surprisingly though, New York City was only the 7th most stressed city.

Tech Troubles

A large percentage of New Yorkers find themselves worrying over technology-related issues. Almost half of residents (45%) say they suffer stress over having a low phone batteries. While an even higher percentage (65%) feel the pressure when dealing with a poor internet connection.

Waiting Woes

Waiting is not a strong suit for many New Yorkers. One-third of residents admit to getting stressed over food delivery delays, and a higher percentage (35%) feel the strain when stuck in a grocery store line. I get stressed when I have to use self-checkout - how about you?

Day Ruiners and Social Media

Over half (59%) of New Yorkers say that they often let the small stresses of life ruin their day. Almost half (47%) confess to feeling embarrassed when these minor things get under our skin. This is no surprise to me,  but the most trivial stressor for New Yorkers is the number of likes on their social media posts.
