Four Longtime Fugitives Still Wanted by New York State
For nearly three decades, four individuals, three men and one woman, have remained wanted by New York State. Their cases are not new, but they are far from forgotten. Each person is accused of serious crimes, and investigators are still hoping that someone, somewhere, knows something that can help bring them in.
The Serious and Violent Crimes Behind These Cases
These four aren’t wanted for minor offenses. The charges tied to them include Unlawful Flight to Avoid Confinement, Criminally Negligent Homicide, and multiple counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th degrees. One case involves the robbery of a restaurant and the murder of an off-duty employee in a nearby apartment. Another involves two counts of Murder in the 2nd degree. These are the kinds of crimes that leave permanent holes in families and communities, and the passage of time doesn’t erase that.
Why Time Hasn’t Closed These Cases
All four individuals have been wanted for at least 28 years. That means loved ones of the victims have spent nearly three decades without full closure. While the trail may feel cold, it only takes one solid tip to change everything. People move, relationships shift, and over time, someone who stayed quiet before may now be ready to speak.
