Get Ready For Jeeps At The Beach This Summer
Jeep Owners Unite! The Jeeps At The Beach event returns to Sylvan Beach, New York, on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
What is Jeeps At The Beach?
This annual event was founded in 2012 by Michael T. Smith as a personal effort to give back to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, which had provided meaningful support to Smith and his family. Jeeps At The Beach has grown the event into a nationally recognized celebration, drawing Jeep enthusiasts from across the country, while raising funds for charity.
It's held in Sylvan Beach on the eastern shore of Oneida Lake, and has brought together Jeep enthusiasts from across the Northeast and has grown into one of Central New York’s signature summer gatherings, featuring hundreds of Jeeps, live music, raffles, vendors, and interactive experiences for participants and spectators alike.

Maguire Foundation Ensures This Annual Event Continues
On May 2, 2026, the Maguire Foundation announced the acquisition of the event, ensuring it will continue, marking a new chapter for one of the largest and most anticipated Jeep enthusiast gatherings in the region, while honoring the legacy and vision that made it so successful.
The acquisition of Jeeps at the Beach aligns perfectly with our mission. This event brings people together through a shared passion while creating meaningful impact for those in need. We are honored to carry forward what Michael has built and to expand upon it in thoughtful ways. We recognize the deep connection that many attendees have with Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. That relationship is not going away. We are committed to ensuring that the hospital continues to benefit from our efforts, even as we expand support to additional organizations in our community.- Phil Maguire, Executive Director of the Maguire Foundation
According to the announcement, founder Michael Smith will return this summer as honorary host and master of ceremonies, helping to ensure continuity and preserve the unique character that has defined Jeeps at the Beach since its inception.
