I Love This Birthday Gift Idea!

Every once in a while I notice social media posts where people ask for donations to their favorite charity in lieu of birthday gifts.  I love this idea!  And it seems to be an idea that is becoming more popular.  In fact, just this morning I saw a facebook post by an Oneonta non-profit which helps dogs and cats that need homes called Super Heroes In Ripped Jeans.  The post was a thank you to a boy who decided to ask for donations for the animals instead of gifts for himself.  What a wonderful thing to do, especially for a child!  It's easy to be inspired by this selfless act.  If you ask me it's a win-win and I am inspired to do this for my next birthday.
