Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced the completion of the I-88 road and bridge improvement project in Otsego County. The $20.6 million project refurbished nearly 26 miles of concrete pavement with an asphalt overlay on I-88 between Exit 12 in Otego and Exit 13 in Oneonta. The project included making general maintenance repairs on all 12 bridges carrying I-88 along that stretch. According to officials his stretch of I-88 averages approximately 13,000 vehicles per day with trucks and buses accounting for more than 40 percent of that traffic.
