This fall, the Greater Oneonta Historical Society (GOHS) is excited to bring back its annual fall fundraiser, Hops for History, a local beer and food tasting event combined with a bar crawl.

On Saturday, September 28, join GOHS for a day of fun and fundraising, hosted in partnership with Northern Eagle Beverages Inc., Cooperstown Brewing Co., and seven popular downtown bars and restaurants.

The festivities kick off at 2 PM at the History Center, where attendees can pick up wristbands and enjoy a beer tasting preview (from 2 PM to 4 PM). From 2 PM to 6 PM, ticket holders can visit participating venues—Wise Guys Sammys, the Autumn Café, NAGS Bar & Kitchen, Roots Public Social Club, the Black Oak Tavern, B Side Ballroom & Supper Club, and the Copper Fox—for tastings of Cooperstown Brewing Co. beers, each paired with a specialty food item prepared by the venue.

The evening culminates with a Beatles Rooftop Concert performed by the Mopar Cams & Special Guests at the Autumn Café’s back patio, starting at 6 PM.

Tickets are available for purchase at the History Center or online via Eventbrite. Prices are $35 for GOHS members, $40 for non-members, and $45 at the door. Group tickets are available at a discounted rate (minimum purchase of six). For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, tickets are available for $15, which includes food tastings. Every ticket includes a wristband and a commemorative Hops for History pint glass. Please note: photo ID is required for beer tastings.

Come enjoy a fantastic evening of local brews, great food, and live music, all while supporting GOHS’s mission to preserve and celebrate the history of our community. Don’t miss out on the chance to connect with fellow history enthusiasts and help protect our past for future generations.

All proceeds from this FUNdraiser will benefit GOHS!
