The Class of 2020 will not have to pass Regents exams in order to graduate according to the New York State Education Department. The June 2020 regents exams have been cancelled, an announcement made official yesterday. Instead, students simply need to pass the courses in which an exam would have been administered. Plans to revamp the Regents exam system are now being delayed by a year because of the coronavirus outbreak.
