The City of Oneonta and the owners of the Oneonta Hotel will be back in court on Friday now that inspectors found required code violation repairs were not completed by a Jan. 11 deadline. In September a judge set the deadline for Melania Pervu to remedy the unsafe conditions at the Main Street building. Mayor Gary Herzig tells All Otsego that there are still considerable violations and they have an obligation to make sure everybody in the city lives in a building deemed safe.
