The coronavirus pandemic has put a great strain on businesses everywhere and some of the hardest hit are venues that host events like Foothills Performing Arts Center (FPAC) in Oneonta which has not been able to operate since mid-March when businesses were forced to close due to Governor Cuomo's state mandate.

On September 16, a statement on Foothills facebook page called on area residents to support the venue with donations to help the organization remain viable in the community. See the statement below...

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted so many individuals, businesses and industries. The Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center is no exception.
We are reaching out to our supporters, clients and neighbors to ask for your help, in order to insure that Foothills is able to remain an integral part of our community. Please watch the video and consider making a donation to Foothills. If you are unable to donate, but you would like to help, simply sharing this video with the hashtag #futureoffoothills would be greatly beneficial.
Thank you for your time and for your support! #futureoffoothills
