Flash Flooding Shuts Down Parts of Chestnut, Main Streets, Oneonta (VIDEO)
Heavy rains that dropped nearly three inches of water in around one hour caused Main St. and Chestnut St. in Oneonta to temporarily close Monday night.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 11:45 p.m. Monday for the Oneonta area.
The surrounding counties of Broome, Otsego and Delaware are also under a flash flood warning as a powerful storm is dumping heavy rain across the region.
