Fatal Accident in Delaware County

State police in Deposit investigated a fatal motor vehicle/pedestrian accident November 26th around 7:40 pm on State Route 17 in the Town of Hancock, Delaware County.

The investigation revealed that the victim, 36-year-old Sheryll M. Redulfin of Ottawa, Canada, had been involved in a one car accident and was standing in the roadway when she was struck by a second vehicle operated by 20-year-old Laura R. Victorm of Yorktown Heights, New York.

Redulfin was transported to Lourdes Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The investigation is continuing.
