Cooperstown Rotary Applefest at the Fly Creek Cider Mill

The Cooperstown Rotary Club´s annual AppleFest, a two day celebration during New York´s peak apple harvest, will be held again this year on Saturday and Sunday, September 15th & 16th, from 10AM until 5PM Saturday, and noon until 5PM on Sunday, on the grounds of Fly Creek Cider Mill.The Rotary tent, staffed by volunteer members of the Cooperstown Rotary Club, local college students and many others, will feature a raffle and silent auction of items donated by local businesses, face and pumpkin painting for children, a coloring contest for grades PK - 4, and a chance to build you own scarecrow. As part of Cooperstown Rotary Club´s literacy drive, all children visiting the Storytelling Tent will receive a free book. The popular Kids Corner will include a bouncy house and NEW this year, a dime toss. A small town carnival favorite, the dime toss is sure to be a new favorite at AppleFest so, bring your piggy bank full of dimes for your shot at some great prizes.
