Enter “The Banner Project” And Have Your Art Work Immortalized on Main Street, Oneonta [Audio]

This is a call to artists who would love to see their artwork hanging from lamp posts in beautiful Downtown Oneonta this summer.  Main Street Oneonta is sponsoring a Banner Competition, inviting artists to submit an original work of art to be reproduced on banners that will hang from select light posts throughout Downtown. 

The theme is "Life Enjoyed in the City of the Hills".  The jurors will choose three winners.  The first place winner will receive $300, 2nd prize is $200 and 3rd place gets $100.  All top prize winners will have their artwork displayed on lamp posts in Downtown Oneonta this summer.  MSO is looking for a diverse array of media so get creative!  The banner dimensions are 18" x 36".  The deadline for submission is June first so hurry!  Get submissions to Julia Goff, Program Manager by e-mailing: goffj@otsegocounty.com or call (607) 432-8871, ext. 208.   You can find more info on this by visiting Community Arts Network of Oneonta (CANO) on facebook.
