Edmeston Museum Hosts Free Kids Geocaching Event August 7, 8

The Edmeston Museum’s Summer Youth Programming continues with Geocaching for Kids (ages 9-14) to be held Wednesday, August 7th, and Thursday, August 8th, at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the museum. Geocaching is treasure hunting using GPS trackers to locate the cache. The first night will be spent learning about geocaching and how to use GPS trackers. In geocaching there is the standard of “take a treasure, leave a treasure” so participants will create small tokens to leave at sites. The second evening will be geocaching using a modified geocache trail to find treasures within walking distance of the museum. There is no cost.
