Dog Eats 111 Pennies Just Because He Can

Is it me or will dogs eat almost anything?  You certainly wouldn't expect a dog to down 111 pennies but that's exactly what "Jack", a New York City Jack Russel Terrier did.  Of course the 13 year old dog quickly became sick and his owner rushed him to a Manhattan veterinarian.  Jack needed surgery to remove all the pennies since the zinc from all those pennies could have killed him.  The good news is Jack is back to his old self and no doubt eying the next thing to ingest.  It's like having a toddler who can't keep things out of his mouth.  His owner had better watch Jack like a hawk.
