This Saturday, October 26, the Otsego County Sheriff's Office invites those with unwanted or expired prescription drugs to properly dispose of them during  the US Drug Enforcement Agency "Take Back Day".  By properly disposing of expired & unwanted prescription drugs you can help prevent pill abuse and theft, along with making sure these harmful substances don't end up in our water stream.

Drop-offs can be made at the Otsego County Sheriff's Office located at 172 County Highway 33 W in Cooperstown between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Items that are NOT accepted:
- Illicit Drugs
- Needles/ Sharpes
- Any Liquids
