Deposit Man Arrested for Criminal Mischief and Obstruction of Breathing

On March 18th, state troopers arrested a Deposit man for criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief.

The arrest occurred after troopers investigated a residential dispute that happened on State Route 8 in Deposit. The investigation seemed to show that Patrick J. Brown, 42, had both choked the victim and prevented the victim from calling the police.

He was arraigned in the Town of Deposit Court and released with an order of protection issued against him.
