Delaware County Sheriff Warns About “Buy and Sell” Pages

With the growing popularity of sell and trade websites, the Delaware County Sheriffs Office urges all to use caution when entering into business arrangements with strangers.

Unfortunately, a Delaware County Youth fell victim to a dishonest person that sold him stolen property. Sadly, this resulted in Deputies being forced to seize those stolen items from the young man just days before Christmas.

As a direct result of a recent Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies PBA fundraising campaign and the generosity of the local businesses that donated to the fundraiser, this incident had a happy ending. The Deputies PBA was able purchase and present to the youth a new PlayStation 4, with accessories.
