Daylight Savings Time Is A Mixed Bag
Give me light, give me Daylight Savings Time! Thankfully it arrives this Sunday, March 9th. That means you'll have to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed this Saturday night.
I must admit thought that It's a bittersweet occasion. One the one hand, we now receive an hour of added daylight in the evening and on the other hand, we lose an hour of sleep Saturday night. I don't know about you but I know that it usually takes me and my family members 3 or 4 days to feel back to normal when it comes to energy. In the meanwhile, we all lag a bit and there is a slight edge of grumpiness around the house as we all get used to the time shift.
Isn't it amazing what one little hour can do? Personally, I'll gladly accept the few days of sluggishness if it means I don't feel like going to bed at 7pm each night because of early evening darkness of Standard Time.
