Three area municipalities are on New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli list of those delinquent in meeting annual financial reporting requirements. A new report shows it’s been 3 years since Otselic filed its paperwork and 4 years for Exeter. In Davenport it’s been nearly a decade since paperwork was last filed. DiNapoli says failing to file for three or more years calls into question the financial position of the locality as well as the effectiveness of the local government’s financial management.
