Cooperstown Police are looking for tips to catch the vandals who defaced the the Village’s three “Masks on Main” signs by spray painting a black “X” on them according to AllOTSEGO. Village officials believe that the vandalism happened Sunday night and they noticed it first thing Monday morning. The vandalized signs were at the perimeters of downtown including Church and Pioneer streets, Main and Chestnut streets, and in front of the Otsego County Building. Several smaller signs were also vandalized.

Cooperstown police are still looking for the vandal(s). Anyone with information should call the dept. at (607) 547-2500.
